Like a kid in a candy store.

I’ve always loved candy stores. The moment I walk in I feel like a little kid again — gumdrops, jelly beans, chewy fruit tarts, sour worms, chocolate decadence, and most of all, the caramel apples. They’re all enticing and fragrant and…heavenly. This was my first time in a candy store in quite some time. I try to resist the sweet temptations, but this one drew me in. The display featured tons of treats, but what really captured my eye was the array of caramel apples.

They had such a wide variety, it was mindblowing. I have never seen so many different kinds before — caramels dipped in chocolate, white chocolate, pecans, peanuts, M&Ms, sprinkles, basically anything you could have ever imagined on a heavenly caramel apple, they had. Not to mention, they also had a large selection of Jelly Beans. In any and every flavor, you could have an explosion for your taste buds!

And LOLLIPOPS! These are real Lollies, big, round and loaded with enough food-coloring to dye your entire mouth a rainbow.

On top of all that, they had a huge assortment of other candies ranging from gummy hearts, to sour snacks, to saltwater taffy.

And believe it or not, all the chocolate and caramel candies are homemade. Let me tell you, the (oversized) milk chocolate turtle literally melted in my mouth. Yum.
